Samara A. Mendoza, CMP is the Owner of By Design Events. In 2004, By Design Events was started because of her long-lasting dedication as an event planning professional and a "true love of her trade." Ms. Mendoza feels truly blessed to be of service to her clients and associates in the event planning and floral design industry. She loves planning events of all sizes and types, each creative and unique in style, and has a passion for designing florals distinctly for each client.

Her fresh ideas and creative designs have won By Design Events 1^st place at the Potomac Floral Wholesale Floral Design Competition (March 2009), and the Association of Bridal Consultants DC/MD Chapter Annual Tabletop Design Competition (November 2007). By Design Events has won awards at other area industry competitions. In addition, they have graced the pages of I Do Maryland and Brides Maryland magazines.

The By Design Events Team has over 18⁺ years of professional experience in planning a multitude of events. They are known for their outstanding customer service, personal client attention and detail, and incredible inspiring event and floral designs.
